LAZY MONDAY
After such a busy weekend Mick has had an understandably quiet day today. He has eaten exceptionally well though and not choked at all. I made a Shepherd's pie with the remains of the lamb joint and he really enjoyed it.
One of the side effects of the patches is a difficulty in passing urine. I have noticed that Mick has been going a lot less frequently but he doesn't seem to be having any discomfort when he does and also, although less frequent, he does seem to passing a good amount.
I must say, it's quite handy using my blog to keep a record of things. It is so easy for one day to become another without me realising how much time has passed. By writing this blog I can look back at my previous posts and see when Mick did what. A sort of "log of logs" (bit of schoolboy humour there I think!).

Here, life has been quite difficult over recent days. There is motion and it is unstable, but I'm not going into that. I have had a bad secondary effect from the cold since Saturday, which has done undesirable things in my chest - scary. Felt very weak over the weekend, but I can never really stop. It is a bad trap. There is so much work outstanding, there are people in trouble waiting for mails, ordinary mails un answered. AND I want to do my blog-posts, but sometime the time melts like snow.
I have just seen that you have read Analia's post. Tricky, really sad. Maybe a lot more of have very hard lives, but it doesn't come out unless it is a black & white situation, like yours. You cannot pretend it is otherwise, as you are living it every minute of every day & you make it clear. My oen life is incredibly more complex than most people realise. My 'real'would be totally unreal to the majority of people and I know that. At times, it is beyond my own comprehension & I honestly don't know where it is going. But it feels like a small sailing ship crossing a very large stormy ocean sometimes.
Enough! Ruth, last Friday I sent you two photo-mails. Through the past 3 days, I have received advice mails saying they are delayed because of some incomprehensible problem with btinternet. i am told to do nothing, no need to send again. So have you receievd. Today, i sent you something different about the Beatles new CD. Did it arrive? If you still haven't got the photos, I'll send them again, because I want you to have satars anbd skies and flowers! There! Night-night! Oh, BTW, I got real sick AND I got on with it. So I guess that makes me both a man & a woman!:-))
Hi Ruth, just catching up with your life here. I'm glad you and Mick had such a nice weekend. You're doing better than I am, keeping 2 blogs up to date! I haven't had a chance to update mine yet this week but hope to do it tomorrow...

I'm not quite sure about your flowers - are they what we call johnny jump-ups? They are lovely anyway! (They're not blooming now, in November, are they? Though if they are johnny jumpups they could be!)

Its been a few days since I first visited your blog, been wandering round here,shoes off,qietly and with much respect. The sunrise and sunset pics are beautiful each and everyone. Same sky but each and everyday a different masterpiece.
Its good to read that Mick is eating well and eyes open touched my heart, moments to treasure indeed..
